A small puzzle to discourage simple address collectors. This is not a security check. Opening email uses your own email app; nothing is sent by this game.
Each woodland village explores a different cybersecurity topic. Walk with WASD or arrow keys, click the ground, or use the touch arrows. Approach a cottage and press E or Space to knock. You can also use the accessible door list. Restore all eight doors to open the next village. Wrong answers stay in your record; you can try again.
A first-try answer earns 100 XP. Each wrong choice reduces that lock’s reward by 30 XP. Asking Patch for a hint costs 20 possible XP. You always earn at least 10 XP for solving a lock.
Your made-up callsign, answers, hints, timestamps and progress are stored on our server. A necessary secure cookie remembers this browser for up to 30 days after use. No email, password, advertising, analytics or AI service is needed. Anyone using this browser can access its active journey. Sign out on shared devices.
Keep your secret recovery code to return after clearing cookies or on another device. Anyone with the code can access your journey. We cannot recover a journey using only its callsign. Creating a new code invalidates the previous code and signs out other devices.
Use Journey settings to delete your server journey. Inactive journeys are removed after 365 days. Deleted data may remain in private backups for up to 30 days. An older local save is copied only when you choose to move it; its original browser data stays untouched. Exported history is for your records, not a recovery code.
Use a made-up callsign and do not share secrets in your name. The hosting provider receives your IP address and technical request data and may process operational or security logs. The application uses short-lived request counters to limit abuse and does not store IP addresses in player records. External reading links have their own privacy practices.
